Class is cancelled 10/15/26
Due to the winds, class is cancelled today but we will be back on schedule next week.
In the meantime, our teacher provided some material to review which has been uploaded to the Schedule page.

Beginning in November, the $10 monthly Bible Study fee will be sent via Zelle to vanessa@littleflowerinbloom.com or in cash specifically for the Young Adult’s Bible Study ministry. Our teacher will discuss the updated payment process at the next class but just an FYI. :)
Starting next week, reminder texts and updates will only be sent to students who have attended class during the month of October.
This is to help reduce costs, as each text message incurs a charge.

Young Adult Men’s & Women’s Retreats
Join us at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in San Clemente where both retreats will begin with Holy Mass and include a day of prayer, reflection, and fellowship with other young Catholic adults.
Both retreats are open to young adults ages 18–35, and all are welcome! Registration is required.**

Overnight Adoration
First Friday & Saturday of the Month
After 7PM Mass, there will be adoration until Saturday morning for the 6:30 AM Latin Mass. Keep in mind that October is the month of the Holy Rosary!

Rosary Hike at Mt. Rubidoux
Join us for an evening of prayer at Mt. Rubidoux in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows!

We’re switching over to fall flavors this Sunday after the morning Masses at San Secondo. We’ll have some new warm drinks, including chai, along with a few new seasonal flavors.

Thursday, September 10, 2026 Class
Class tonight is NOT mandatory! Our teacher is not going to be giving class today.
We’ll mainly be going over the Study Guide, having some discussion, and spending a little time in fellowship afterward.
God willing, we’ll be back to our normal class next week! In the meantime, please keep our teacher in your prayers.

The Passion of the Christ
Join us on Friday, September 11 at 7:00 PM as we gather at the AMC Theater in Ontario to watch The Passion of the Christ together!
We would love to have a large group come out to support this beautiful and powerful film, especially at a time when its message is so needed.
Bring your friends and family! The theater is small, so we encourage you to purchase your tickets soon.
If you cannot join us on September 11, please consider watching the film while it is in theaters September 10–17.

Thursday, September 3rd Class: CANCELED
Tonight’s class is canceled due to our teacher being sick. We apologize for the inconvenience on the last minute notice, but we ask to keep him in prayer.
Please continue to use this time to intentionally grow in your faith!
Consider spending time in silent prayer, going to adoration, reading scripture, studying our study guide, or attending evening mass!
San Secondo d’Asti Catholic Church is hosting their monthly
All-Day Adoration inside the church from 9am-7pm today!
Evening Mass begins at 7pm, and Confessions take place 30 minutes prior (6:30pm—but we would encourage arriving around 6pm!)
Tomorrow night, San Secondo hosts their monthly First Friday Adoration
that begins right after the 7pm mass up until Saturday’ 6:30am mass.
God willing, we will see you all next Thursday at 7:00 PM!

Last week, we noticed that quite a few people came without notetaking materials. We want to encourage everyone to come prepared to take notes each week, not for our sake, but for yours.
Research on learning consistently shows that taking notes helps us actively process information and can improve what we are able to remember and recall later.
But your notes are meant to be more than just something to help you remember facts. Use them for reflection.
Write down something that challenges you, a question you want to pray about, a Scripture passage that speaks to you, or something you want to come back to during the week.
Our goal is not simply to give you more information about the Catholic faith. We want this class to change your heart.
We don't want you to leave each week simply thinking, “I learned something new.” We want you to leave asking, “How is God asking me to live differently?”
In Ezekiel 36:26, God doesn't promise merely to give His people an updated heart. God promises “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you.”
Come prepared. Bring a Bible, notebook, and pen. Take notes. Reflect on them throughout the week. Pray with what you learn.
The goal is to allow God transform our hearts.

Join us this evening as we explore the topic of scrupulosity and what the Catholic Church teaches about it.
Scrupulosity is an unfounded fear that something is sinful when it is not, or that a venial sin is actually a mortal sin. It can lead to unnecessary anxiety, doubt, and difficulty trusting in God's mercy.
Together, we'll discuss what scrupulosity is, how to recognize its signs, and how to form a well-ordered conscience rooted in truth, trust, and the teachings of the Catholic Church. Whether you've personally struggled with scrupulosity or simply want to better understand this important topic.

Friday Adoration - 07/31/2026
Join us next Friday, July 31st for San Secondo’s monthly Family Adoration from 5pm-7pm! Regular confessions take place at 6:30pm followed by mass at 7pm.
While this devotion is intended for families, we encourage all to attend and act as witnesses to the children who will be there to grow in their familiarity with Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. In attendance, one of our local homeschool communities, Our Lady of Good Success, will be in present with their students; Little Flower proactively supports this program due to their faithfulness to classical education and commitment to teaching Catholic values.
One other way you can support this community is for the upcoming Angels Baseball game on Monday July 27th! Proceeds support OLGS’ mission, and your attendance builds fellowship! See Jess after Bible Study if you are interested in joining us. Consider inviting a friend, we hope to see you all there!

Join us on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 6:00 AM for our monthly Rosary Hike at Mt. Rubidoux! Everyone is welcome—no RSVP is necessary.

As we begin the month dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we will offer this Rosary Hike in honor of Our Lady of the Angels. Come spend the morning in prayer, fellowship, and reflection as we entrust our intentions to Our Blessed Mother.
Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a water bottle, and don't forget your rosary.

Bible Study Potluck - 07/17/2026
Along with normal lecture this week, we are also going to be enjoying a potluck and encourage fellowship during Bible Study! If you are able to, please feel free to bring a dish, snack, dessert, or beverage to share with the group.
To help us plan, please let us know if you intend to bring something and what you would like to contribute.
If you are unable to bring an item, that is completely okay!!! Still come to class!! Your presence and participation are what matter most to us.
