Orientation Day!

Bible Study Orientation

Our first class served as an introduction to the Bible Study class. This established the foundation for the weeks ahead. We began in prayer with the Holy Rosary, reviewed the course syllabus and expectations, discussed recommended study materials, and took time to get to know one another.

Participants also completed a Faith Assessment designed to help identify their current understanding of Catholic teaching, Scripture, and Church history. The purpose of this assessment was not to grade anyone, but to encourage reflection on an important question: if we call ourselves Catholic, how well do we truly know and understand our faith? This also gave the teacher an understanding of where the class stoon in terms of knowledge of the faith.

This evening set the tone for a prayerful, intentional, and intellectually engaging study rooted in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and authentic Catholic teaching. We look forward to growing together in knowledge, friendship, and love of Christ throughout this journey.
